It is made of sapphire. Pomegranate is carved with two branches extending from the tail to both sides to form a stand. The upper end is carved with leaves to support the fruit like a pedestal. The top of the fruit is carved with an irregular opening, and the interior is carved with pomegranate fruit grains. A hollow pomegranate branch and leaf shaped wood seat is attached.
