- Image Number: K1D002991N000000000PAE
- Dynasty: Qing dynasty
- Category: Miscellaneous objects
- Archival dimension: 全長約26.5公分 寬16公分
- Function: Clothing and accessories
- Material: Minerals/Jade Jewelry/Jade
- Description:
The jade is made into nearly transparent flakes. As the wings of butterflies, the jade texture is like the natural stripes of butterflies in the light. On the one hand, the metal piece fixes the jade piece and gathers it in coils. On the other hand, it makes the antenna and body of the butterfly. Unfortunately, the jade has been lost. However, the beautiful contour lines connected by continuous arcs, the parallel lines of polishing and shallow relief on the surface of the jade piece, and the relatively large size still make this jade butterfly hairpin quite visible.
